The Second Revelation of James

Before I started, the Celestial Messenger Spirits came by again and blessed the reading, it felt like they set off a gong of energy in the space above me and circulated light in the room.

This chapter is very confusing....as there is a lot of words missing, similar to the previous text. Basically, it's James going around town and preaching to various people about Jesus. I get the impression that this was after Jesus's crucifixion. Two sections I found most interesting and beautiful: "The Death Prayer of James" and "James Professes the Divinity of Jesus".

The death prayer is particularly emotional, due to James being tortured and stoned to death. While reading.....I thought about how horrible karma it is to murder a spiritual master.....the people whom murdered him....2000 years later are probably still working off that juju....sigh....it is what it is. His prayer is very emotional, posted below:

"But he reached out his hands and uttered this prayer--not the prayer he accustomed to speak:

My God and Father
who same me from this dead hope,
who made me alive through the mystery of your good pleasure,
do not let these days in the world be prolonged for me,
but let the day of your light, in which [no night] remains,
[shin upon me].
Bring me to where my [63] salvation is,
and deliver me from this [place of] sojourn
Let not your grace be squandered on me,
but let your grace be pure.
Save me from an evil death.
Bring me from the tomb alive,
for your grace is alive in me,
the desire to accomplish a work of fullness.
Save me from sinful flesh,
because I have trusted in you with all my strength,
for you are the life of life.
Save me from an enemy that would humiliate me.
and do not let me fall into the hand of a harsh judge.
<Save me> from sin,
and forgive me all the debts of my days.
For I am alive in you,
your grace is alive in me.
I have renounced everything.
but you I have confessed.
Save me from evil affliction.
Now is the [time] and the hour.
Holy [Spirit}, send me salvation.
Light [from] light, crown [me] with [imperishable]...power.

When he finished speaking, [he] fell silent. After this his word [was written down. This is] the account....."(Pg 341)

In my Gnostic and Animism blog over on OF....I shared a mantra for the Gnostic current: "O Rah Zin"

Tis a good piece of tech....but it'd be cool to share a more cosmic version of the mantra that can be used during any cycle: "O Rah Zin Kimso"

That's all for this blog, cheers.
